Promotional slots (cover art & buy link) are offered to regular contributors only (to prevent posting for one week just to get a slot and never participating again) for their new release (during month of release or months dovetailing the release) for free of charge. Slots are on a first come/first served basis and run from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month. If you schedule a slot and fail to participate after scheduling, you forfeit your space.

While six book covers are shown, only three are available to be scheduled ahead of time. The openings as of 5/15/12 for these slots are as follows:

1 slot in November 2012
1 slot in December 2012 

*2013 slots are not being scheduled at this time

The other three slots will be held until a few days prior to first of the month. This is to allow for new releases where the date is not known months in advance (i.e. final editing is finished and the publisher releases the book a week or two later). An announcement will be made when this time is open and when it closes. While you’re free to email to inquire about a regular slot whenever you’d like, please do not send an email inquiring about the random slot until the announcement is made. Also, please do not attach your cover art until you are asked for it. If you send cover art asking to be added to the drawing, your entry is not valid. The same guidelines as the regular slots still apply to the random monthly draw–you must be a regular contributor.
